File, Folder and partitions Sharing for Windows 7:
- Right click on the desired file and select “Share with” then select a group or click on “Specific People” to add people to share this file with.

- After clicking on “Specific People” select the desired persons as shown below, and in case you want the file to be shared with everyone select “everyone”.

Note: If your computer is on a workgroup, you have the option of turning password protection on or off. If password protection is turned on, the person you are sharing with must have a user account and password on your computer in order to access the files and folders you are sharing. You can turn password protection on or off in the Network and Sharing Center. |
- Before clicking on the Share button, you may want to assign rights to the persons who will use this file on the same network, after selecting the desired persons a small option box will appear, select the option you want and click on Share button.

Note: The Read means you allow that person(s) to read the file contents without privilege of modifying them, However Read/Write option allows that person(s) to. |
- After clicking on the “Share” button click on “Done”

- If you want to share a whole Hard disk partition, just right click on the desired partition and select “Share with”, then “Advanced Sharing…”.

- Then click on Advance button.

- Then, select “Share this folder”, and type a Share name (e.g.my files), then click on Apply and Ok.
